Senior engineer, AME

Identify and disseminate best practice maintenance reliability methods within the region

Regional leader for related Manufacturing Excellence initiatives (Maintenance and Energy)

Develop core competencies with plant technical leadership (engineers, supervisors, group leaders)

Create and initiate maintenance technician training, certification, and apprenticeship program

Optimize and reduce regional maintenance spares

Identify regional obsolescence risk developing a mitigation plan for each budget year

Monitor equipment technical downtime as it relates to reliability and effectiveness

Administrate application and use of Maintenance & Spares system

Lead technical-related facility task force improvement initiatives as identified

Support the implementation of MTTR (Mean time to repair) and MTBF (Mean time before failure) Standards for the Region Europe and SA

Key Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technical field or a combination of education and equivalent experience

5-7+ years of progressive leadership in engineering/technical field

Experience with Automotive supply is preferred

Ability to lead a team

Good communication & interpersonal skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Proactive approach to solving problems

Time management skills

50% of the time travel required
